      Generally it is only humans and other primates that have a clear menstrual flow. In other mammals, the endometrium is absorbed internally and no visible signs of bleeding are seen.

      Menstruation is only commonly observed in humans of the female gender.

      Yes,females of other mammal species undergo what is known as estrous cycles, in which the endometrium is completely reabsorbed by the animal (covert menstruation) at the end of its reproductive cycle.
